Are you a fellow artist, collector, or art lover? Hopefully these frequently asked questions will give you the information that you need to better enjoy your experience here on this site. DO YOU SHIP ANYWHERE?
Shipping costs have increased like gas, bread, and well...everything. I have used USPS, UPS, and FEDEX for shipping. I try to find the lowest cost for the fastest delivery time. Yes, I would probably ship anywhere, but the cost varies depending on location.
What size painting is the best?
The size that best fits your space is the short answer. However, painting a large piece takes longer to paint and requires more materials. This drives the cost of labor and supplies. Although I have painted on small pieces of wood and have on large 36"x48" gallery wrapped canvases, most of my paintings are 11" x14." Tell me where you would like to see it in your space, and I can help choose a size. Note that a print can be sized to fit your space in most cases as well.
WHAT IS YOUR PRODUCTION TIME FOR A COMMISSIONED PAINTING?
Having a full time career, I'm limited on the amount of time I can devote to creating art. I usually paint a few nights a week and some on weekends. I generally handle commissions in the order received, unless there is a particular timeline, like for a Christmas or Birthday gift. A painting with detail can take a week or a month to paint depending on size and subject. Let me know your timeline, and I will give you my best estimate on turn around.
